The Kuta Health Center, vital to the community's well-being, struggled with limited access to electricity, hindering its ability to provide quality medical care. However, Energy Pro Light Up Foundation stepped in with a visionary solution: harnessing the power of the sun to light up the Kuta Health Center. This is the inspiring story of how solar energy transformed healthcare in Kuta.
Kuta Village, like many remote communities, faced healthcare disparities. The Kuta Health Center, the lifeline of medical services, operated under the constraints of sporadic electricity. This adversely affected critical medical procedures, refrigeration of vaccines, and the overall quality of care.
Here we implemented a solar energy solution tailored to the health center's needs. Solar panels were strategically installed to harness the abundant sunlight, ensuring a continuous supply of electricity. Battery storage systems provided uninterrupted power even during cloudy days and nights.
Beyond powering the health center, we invested in sustainability and trained local technicians to maintain the solar infrastructure, creating jobs within the community. This empowerment extended to the villagers who benefited from improved healthcare services.
